Lakes of Northern Italy Bike Tour 2016

Pedalling in Italian Lake District.
Our passion for cycling is something we are always eager to share both experienced sport cyclists and lovers of more leisurely biking. 2015 season was our second season.

Over the years we have developed a variety of routes, rated according to difficult level, distance and altitude differences.
Here is our Road Cycling Area: http://www.gpsvarese.it/hu/10.html

Surrounding Varese there are ten lakes of different dimensions: a veritable slalom among fresh waters, beautiful historical villas, ancient village, Medieval buildings and forests on the border between Italy and Switzerland.
Once you get out of town (5-10 kilometres) you essentially have NO traffic, great forests, beautiful views, undulating and peaceful roads, gently rolling hillsides, valleys and mountains, challenging climbs, descents and above all, views across the Prealps, Alps, the Monte Rosa Massif and Italy’s northern lakes.

We never tire of planning new routes, new programmes for riders and non-riders guests: http://www.gpsvarese.it/i_activities_beyond_tour.asp

During your stay, you can choose to ride over towards Lake Como and go up to the Shrine of Madonna del Ghisallo at Magreglio (CO) between the two branches of Lake Como. It is venerated by international cycling as patroness of cycling and the place has become the focus of many riders' pilgrimages: http://www.gpsvarese.it/i_news_dettaglio.asp?ID=106

Our cyclist guests are never abandoned, the assistance is a fundamental part of daily ride. Whenever necessary we also guarantee rapid help in case of accidents or breakdown, to get both cyclists and their bikes safely back home.

You will find a CCTV bicycle storage room for bicycles, an equipped workshop with tools for minor repairs and washing area, a dressing room, medical service, laundry service, catering for cyclists, local cycling guides.
